Astoundingly epic in proportions and make, the Aria Lampadario steals gasps with its unusual silhouette and stunning LED system. Strips of ribbed glass, bent and curved into form, are placed together in various heights; all this to recreate a curious illusion of frosty light haze that gather together in a seemingly space-age masterpiece. From an angle, the ceiling lamp appears like an upside-down mountain of ice. But the real genius is to peek at it from below, where there gazes back a medley of LED lights, shining in chorus inside its black painted-metal canopy. Every beam gloriously reflects on the rib panels that echo the lights in a breath-taking manner, giving a temporary mirage of spinning down a spiral of stairs and looking up to find a marvellous chandelier.
Designer Information
Through precious lessons from the tradition of the family glassworks established in the 40s, the industrial glass, with its linear essentiality, is enriched and warmed by shapes and colours that always refer to the inexhaustible heritage of the Venetian handicraft, with intelligence and creativity, giving life to a product unique of its kind. The first that used the Murano massive glass as a base for its tables, Reflex has always been using high-quality materials, such as glass, marble, forged iron, and wood, applying new contrasts and technological processes on the cutting edge, with a craft mastery.
