Murano glass is hand made by the Master. To become a Murano Master, it takes 15 to 20 years serving the longest apprenticeship of its type anywhere on the planet. If you have never seen a Master glass blower in action, then we strongly urge you to do so. They use skills handed down over 800 years to create unique items of mindblowing technical difficulty and sheer brilliance that will not devalue.
