In the shape of a trumpet, Astra gracefully hangs from the ceiling, occupying attention with its commanding shape and elegant curves wistfully shaped out of a tobacco-coloured crystal. Its artistry is dazzling, with the perfect fret of lines swirling on its body. But the true wonder is not on the outside; take a peek from the bottom of the cornet and discover its straight, starry gaze, like a fiery burning quasar glowing in the middle of a blank canvass, radiating its powerful light and emitting halos of its round rays. This joyful illusion can only be made by a true artisan, with perfection and accuracy evident in the delicate handling of the glass. Designer Marco Piva graciously bestowed the best of his talent in this design for Reflex, which is made brighter with its own LED system that shines in 15W. A metal canopy with bronze-finish support holds this pendant light together, with options to use artistic or transparent glass in place of its taupe hue.
Designer Information
Through precious lessons from the tradition of the family glassworks established in the 40s, the industrial glass, with its linear essentiality, is enriched and warmed by shapes and colours that always refer to the inexhaustible heritage of the Venetian handicraft, with intelligence and creativity, giving life to a product unique of its kind. The first that used the Murano massive glass as a base for its tables, Reflex has always been using high-quality materials, such as glass, marble, forged iron, and wood, applying new contrasts and technological processes on the cutting edge, with a craft mastery.
